Web development and Web Design Differentiated

A couple of months ago I was new to the digital agency world and didn’t really bother understanding the difference between both these terms and even though I didn’t care enough to know the difference, I had to make an effort because if you’re ever writing an article or blog related to technical ‘stuff’ or if you’ve got to convince a client that you’re ‘the’ company to choose then you’re left with no option but to learn.
My Blog today is aimed at amateurs or freshers who wish to get a glimpse of what’s what.
A web design includes your layout and all the elements on your site whilst web development means bringing these essentials to existence and making the site functional or operational. Don’t the terms give away the dissimilarities? They do to some extent but going in-depth into the working of both will be covered in a later blog.  First, you have got to understand what elements are included in web scheme or model:
-‘BECCU’ are the elements associated with your ‘outline’.
Just to make one thing clear, all the rudiments specified above play an equally important role.

The balance of elements (visuals, videos, etc) with text is crucial if you want your layout to be pleasing and not too fiery in the eyes of your viewers.  Even the color of your ‘essentials’ must be tame and not wild unless your website deals in ‘freaky/wild’ things. Every website has its own look; an animal shelter site won’t have a prototype that’s too bright or playful. Instead, it will be simple with a balance of images and fragments of visuals. You can check out our website if you need such services. We’re the best web design company in Delhi NCR

Let’s now move on to Emphasizing or highlighting the most crucial part of the whole layout. Every company/organization or brand has different fragments they would like to emphasize (they usually place importance on items that will highlight their success rates or their services or whatever they wish to highlight).

Note: Only highlight what is important or something that you think is worth flaunting.
The same way color contrast is also quite important. You’ve got to make use of colors that complement each other well yet maintain a proper balance with the other elements on the site. You wouldn’t place neon colors together, would you? Or would you pair neon green with neon orange just for the sake of blinding your viewers?

Stability or consistency of your designs is just as crucial as balance and contrasting colors. You have got to keep it all in a flow or a rhythm so that it doesn’t come across as abrupt or incomplete. Your UX and navigation come under this point. If the navigation experience is bad or the experience of the user isn’t perfect then you’ll only end up losing your visitors which will lead to higher bounce rates (and we don’t want that, do we?)
The last piece of the puzzle for design is Unity. This term simply specifies grouping and placing all the fragments in a professional manner and in a systematic way. Many experts claim that you have got to base the unity of your elements on the ‘Gestalt Theory’.
I hope you got an idea of what designs are really about. Now we are going to move on to the more complex part- web development.
Like mentioned above, development is bringing stale or still objects to life or making a something non-functional functional or responsive.
Programmers or developers are the experts behind the functioning of designs. The components are broken down then HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) or PHP is used to develop a certain website. We at Coderang make it a priority to test and retest the site’s functionality and loading time before we hand the final product over to our clients. So if you are looking for a top web development company in Delhi NCR, we are always available.
I hope this blog was helpful. If you wish to read about the in-depth process of the programming languages used, stay tuned for our blog next week.

·         To avoid keyword stuffing we’ve used words like models, outlines, prototype and plot as synonyms of design
